Andrew was extremely professional and knowledgeable, he was punctual and took the time to diagnose the problem with my shower (which was an unusual one), carry out the repair and ensure everything was tidy and in working order. I am so glad we found Andrew, I would not consider using anyone else in the future and can not recommend him highly enough.

Being a woman living on my own, I was worried about my alarm system not being up to date. Andrew Mckay was recommended by a friend. I contacted him and arranged a date for him to visit me to discuss. He arrived on time and we discussed the options available and the cost. We agreed on an installation date and Andrew arrived on time. He was so polite and professional, no hard selling. The work was completed swiftly and no mess was left for me to clean up. Would thoroughly recommend him and he will definitely be my first port of call next time I need any work.

Excellent service from day one, I required a full rewire Andrew came around went through what was required and the time it would take, a full estimate was received, a date was agreed and this was carried out in a professional manner and was advised most days of progress when the work was completed we walk around the site and I was more than happy with the work, my house was left tidy and I would recommend Andrew for all electric services to my friends and family

Andrew is one fo the best workers I have ever seen. Very nicely dressed with his logo name. Spot on time with his young work mate, who likes One Sugar in his coffee and a few chocolate digestives. I thought they were going to give me an estimate for the work to be done. They had everything with them, my outside two pin plug, wire and told me everything that was to be done. All done in an hour, not a mark or dust to be seen. The price was wonderful. That reminds my I must pay them. Thank you so much lads, a great job. Jim Christie.

After my home was burgled whilst I was sleeping I became too scared to live in my own home, and being physically disabled only increased my fears. A friend referred me to Andrew McKay electrical services and he came out and took my problems very compassionately. After looking at all the possible options with him I decided that a perimeter detection system and intruder alarm was the best option for me. He and his team installed CCTV cameras outside and these clever cameras detect intruders and sound an alarm with blue flashing lights, making them run away BEFORE they break into my home. It's a fantastic system that I never knew existed. That twinned with an insurance approved alarm inside my house are connected to my mobile phone, so I am alerted to any threats or potential issues with the system as and when they happen. This has completely changed my outlook and I feel 1000 times safer knowing I'm protected to a level just short of a security guard. I can't thank this company enough for giving me my life back, 5 stars is just not enough! He explained costs transparently and even highlighted when my ideas would cost me more and gave me options to reduce costs, not something you experience often.
