I cannot recomment Dom from D.L.R Electrical highly enough. He first installed my cooker. I was very pleased with his work and how professional he was so I asked for a quote to convert and install a light fitting. Dom is polite and professional. He provides you with a quote and it was fair. He makes sure to understand exactly what you want. He asks questions and he checks with you during the work. The conversion turned out more complicated than first thought but he checked this was okay with me. He answers questions with patience, honestly and without making you feel out of your depth. He adpated to the issue in a way that worked practically and visually. The workmanship was great. He cleaned up after himself. Finally the whole time he is in your home he makes you feel comfortable, he never takes over the space or dominates the space. I felt comfortable to leave him to get on with the work.

Dom has done work for us on two occasions: when we were refitting our kitchen, and then when we were refitting our utility room. On both projects we found him to be efficient, clean, trustworthy, hard-working and a pleasant person to have around. We found his quotes fair and his work thorough. We live in quite an old property and there was some work which was required in order to comply with new regulations - Dom was clear about what that work was and why he had to carry it out, and he carried it out with minimal disruption. In our utility room he made useful suggestions as regards socket positioning to help us to achieve an uncluttered look. I feel that Dom made the effort to understand what we were trying to achieve and then, by helpful suggestions, enabled us to improve on it. If and when we next need an electrician we will be calling Dom.
