About Us

David Peel Auto Electricians was established in 1973 and has continued to offer Auto Electrical services and repairs to both trade and retail clients ever since.

We made the decision to move to our purpose built premises in 2011 where we have continued to see a marked increase in the level of work due to the complex nature of electronic systems, once only found on top end luxury cars but now common place on the average family car.

Fixed price diagnostics and substantially lower than main dealer labour costs make good economic sense so please feel free to speak to our service or parts department for assistance with any query and they will be more than happy to help.

Autotec Keighley Ltd undertake all forms of mechanical servicing and repairs on vehicles ranging from motorcycles to HGVs, we have on site Diesel specialists and all our highly trained staff have experience of work on a wide range of makes and models of vehicle. Combined with our fully equipped Body Shop we carry out work for most of the major insurance companies and have over 30 years experience in the industry. All our estimates are free so please feel free to ask us for a quote.

Autotec Recovery Keighley Ltd offers a full recovery and breakdown service. We operate over 15 recovery trucks, service vans and heavy off-road winching equipment meaning we can cater for any scenario. We provide road side repairs where ever possible enabling vehicles to continue on the journey or alternatively we can provide recovery back to our own fully equipped and modern service centre or your own workshop as required.

We are PAS 43 accredited and work for all the major breakdown clubs, our commercial technicians are fully trained and experienced in working with all modern vehicles and trailers from mobility scooters to heavy haulage vehicles.

Our service covers the whole of the UK and Ireland along with Mainland Europe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Fantastic service, in difficult circumstances. After breaking down they flatbedded us to their workshop and arranged for a replacement alternator. We are not from the area so they lent us a car to get to our B&B. After a very efficient and speedy repair we were on our way. Thanks to John for looking after us and making sure we were updated on progress. Our sincere thanks for the quality of service.

Needed some battery terminals for a japanese import. Extremely helpful lady on the counter found the nearest fit in the catalogue and measured existing terminals to make sure they would fit. Great service, thank you.

DO NOT take your vehicle here! Over a month of back and forth stress for me. Extremely poor communication. No information, constantly palmed me off with excuses. Had to forcibly walk in to talk to someone. If I had direct honesty I wouldn't be writing this as I appreciate you may not be staffed 100% however you have all been sly and constantly tried to string me along. Deceitful about a new battery, false promises about a courtesy car, using all fuel from a full tank, having the car already started so I didn't at first see the problem… the list goes on. Being nice and patient for a month didn't work. I apologise for storming the garage and Richard having to deal with me but that was the most communication I had in months. Thanks to Lorraine for sorting me out a small refund. Just be honest and straight with your customers. All of this could have been dealt with a month ago with a few direct phone calls. Oh and by the way isn't John Dixon the mechanic who wouldn't talk to me or come out as the 5 star review you have on Google is also from John Dixon. A coincidence? Maybe use a pseudonym John!
