I first used Andy after finding him via the rated people website. The first job was fitting 6 spotlights into a ceiling and installing a light fitting of a type that he had not used before (the unit I wanted fitting is simple and straight forward but some people did not want to entertain anything they had not done before, Andy just read the electrical diagram that came with it and installed it with no fuss). Andy gave a fair price for the work that was required and more importantly from talking to him came across as someone that would be good to work with which I personally believe is important. He was not the cheapest or most expensive but certainly the only guy I was prepared to let loose on my property, never buy on price alone! (I run a professional purchasing team so understand the purchasing process very well). Fitting spotlights can be a very messy job and Andy worked cleanly to ensure there was as little mess as possible and cleared up after himself. He did a great job hence I got him back for a second job. This time it was a full day, fitting some external garage lights from scratch, tidying up some other external lighting and fitting some zwave control unit's for me (by now he is an expert at these!). Again the work was done to a good standard and I was able just to let him get on with it. Again I was charged a fair and reasonable price for what was involved. There was one job that caused a few unexpected problems (not caused by Andy) but he worked through them to help me report back to the supplier of the item, all at no extra charge and just part of the service, for me that's something that really important with people you are working with. Needless to say there are other jobs that I've got coming up and I'll certainly be asking Andy to take a look at them for me. If you want someone who knows what they are doing and will do an excellent job for a fair price then I would recommend Andy and Diskin Electrical Services based on what I've seen so far.

We hired Diskin Electrical to carry out a few jobs on our house. Every aspect of the process has been professional and I would highly recommend this company. We had a new consumer unit installed and all wiring checked, a new light connected to the existing hall way circuits, some general up-dating of current lights, making the garage wiring safe (which seemed to have been a previous owners DIY disaster) and the initial worked needed to put in underfloor heating in the conservatory (which we will get them back to fit). Polite, professional, knowledgeable and well-priced, what more could you ask for?
