I look forward to working with you guys for a long time to come. Before ECM came on board, our electrical packages were always a burden when it came to design, cost & install. Now we have Joe & his team, all of these element have been controlled from start to finish under one roof. There attention to detail & ability to quickly adapt to client changes is what makes the process easy. ECM help us tendering new projects as well as delivering top class service in the residential and commercial sectors. We cannot recommend these guys enough. I would recommend ECM to anyone wishing to take on a project large or small and looking carry out electrical works. When we initially met Joe from ECM I immediately took a liking to his attitude and attention to detail, it was apparent to me that this young man takes great pride in his work, myself and everyone at PUG LDN boxing gym are happy and proud to have the association with ECM. I have now worked with ECM on a number of projects and since I first met Joe it was clear to me that he has a great understanding of his trade. His work ethic is exceptional, and nothing is ever too much trouble. I thought this company would be a safe bet given the 5-star reviews here but the service was terrible from start to finish. The work they undertook at my property was not completed but they sent me an invoice for payment in full. I also requested an EICR and despite paying for this upfront I did not receive the EICR report for over two months. I was told the EICR report could not be completed as they needed to check something at the property that the electrician had forgotten to do. I arranged a date for them to attend again but they did not turn up, no phone call and my tenant waited in for them. I had to chase continually for the EICR report and resorted to sending a 7 day Letter informing them that legal action would be taken, I was assured once again by Joe Wharton the MD, that he would personally see to this but again no report was received. After calling them every day after the 7 day deadline for a week I only received the report when I contacted NICEIC and reported them. Upon receiving an electronic copy of the report I asked if I would receive a hard copy the reply was “No we don't send them out as they usually find their way into a bin or cupboard”, hardly professional! Laughably they chased me for payment of the invoice sending a 7 day overdue reminder, when this had already been paid in full on the due date and Joe Wharton had himself acknowledged the payment had been received! Understandably I will not be recommending this company to anybody!

I had a few electricians who came round to price a rewire on my house. When Joe and his ECM team came over they were the most professional, best priced and the most knowledgeable on what was required. The rewire was finished in great time and with minimal mess created in the house. They are the cleanest and most diligent workers I have ever come across, and we have had them back several times for outdoor lighting, my extension wiring and various light fittings. They have also recommended me great plumbers and heating engineers to use in the extension who, unsurprisingly, were just as sublime. I honestly can not recommend this business enough. From start to finish the attention to detail is impeccable, the work rate is second to none and they leave the house incredibly clean.

After a bad experience with another electrician, ECM literally came to my rescue. They sorted out all the problems made by the previous company and got everything up to standard and working properly. Joe, Beth and the engineer Lee went above and beyond to help me out. The work was carried out professionally, punctual and with great customer service. After the bad experience I had it was refreshing to find a company who is reliable and trustworthy. Would highly recommend them.

I used ECM to rewire my kitchen, the work turned out to be quite a lot more than first anticipated due to the previous owners of my house being DIY experts 🙄 Joe was the ultimate professional, he didn’t grumble once he just got my job done for me. I was expecting a big extras bill but even that was very very fair. He’ll be on the Christmas card list this year for sure! Would highly recommend.

Lee came today to install fuse box, cooker wire and hardwire the new hob. This is the second time I have used ECM in recent months and I am pleased to say Lee did a great job. He found solutions to problems he came across and got the job done in a clean and tidy manner. Lee was polite and courteous and knowledgeable and on time. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Joe and his team in the future.
