I found Dave from 'Electrical and Heating Solutions', by way of the Google Nest ‘Pro-installer website. I contacted him and explained that I needed a Nest Learning Thermostat fitting, he said that he would be able to install it and gave me a very competitive quote. We arranged a date for him to come and do the job; but unfortunately I then had to take a doctor's appointment for the same morning that he was due to fit it. I rang him to explain and try to reschedule. But the next day when I returned home after my doctor's appointment I found Dave sitting outside my house in his van (I had mentioned in our conversation what time I hoped to return home after my appointment). He came in and inspected my Central heating system and despite it being a distinctly ‘Vintage’ system installed in May 1977. Dave was quickly able to sort out all the various components and install the new Nest thermostat and soon got it up and running, finally cleaning up after he’d finished the job. Throughout the whole process Dave was polite, friendly and informative. I was very grateful for him finding the time to fit me in later on our scheduled day, rather than having to wait for a later date. All in all a very professional service and a nice guy to boot. Would definitely recommend him and use him again.

I contacted Dave following an issue with our boiler and Hive. Clearly an extremely honest and decent tradesman as he initially provided advice via phone which would have negated unnecessary expenditure. When it soon transpired that a site visit was required, Dave agreed to a same day visit and true to his word sorted the issue efficiently and professionally at a very fair price. A genuine and professional guy providing a faultless service. Thanks Dave 👍

Nothing was too much trouble for David from Electrical and Heating Solutions! We felt completely safe and reassured by his knowledge and expertise and was particularly impressed with the creativity he demonstrated with our lighting design and ‘workarounds’ needed with various areas of the house. We have used David on a number of occasions now and he is fast becoming the ‘Hive heating expert’ as we call him! as well specialising in security systems too. His know-how and specialisms I would say are what really set him apart from other electricians we’ve used previously and I would highly recommend his services! 5+ Stars :-)
