Andrew Scholey5 StarGCE Services were recommended to us and we certainly were not disappointed. We needed a complete rewire for our four bedroom detached house. We had several electricians provide quotes for the work but we were most impressed by Gary of GCE Services. He was very meticulous when visiting the house making detailed notes of sockets, switches, placement, general requirements, etc, plus he also made suggestions where we weren’t sure of what was required. His supplied quote detailed everything in full with a guaranteed price.
Gary was excellent with communication and replied to our questions straight away where we needed some clarification or a couple of changes that we wanted to make. He visited the house again the week before the work was due to start to double check everything and walk us through their plans for the work.
Gary and his team of electricians were excellent, starting at 8am each day and working through to 5pm. We have been especially impressed with how neat and tidy the work was. Clearly a house rewire is a dusty, messy job but they used a wall chaser machine that cut very clean lines in the plaster and brick, significantly reducing mess plus vacuuming as they worked resulting in far less dust and mess than we ever expected. They finished the work on time and thoroughly cleaned up the house on completion.
Overall, we have been thoroughly impressed by Gary and GCE Services from the initial contact and quote, with prompt communication throughout the process, through to the excellent work carried out during the house rewire. We would certainly recommend them.Tuesday 9th March 2021
