The guy is an absolute joke. Not seen a more unprofessional tradesman in my life. Got an impression that all the positive reviews on here must have been written about the people he works with, not Pete himself. At the start he seems pleasant enough, nothing is a problem, an easy going guy. He's been owing us money for months now, stopped replying to messages, doesn't pick up his phone. When we employed a third person to get in touch with him, he spewed some lies about having no knowledge about the matter, even though my partner has raised the subject with him personally face to face months ago. We have contacted a wholesaler from whom the items were purchased, they have confirmed the refund has been processed soon after the return. We have receipts and proof of payment, yet he is trying to stall by saying he is not sure he received the payment and that we might be able to get "some" of the money and the rest might be paid in due course. That is not what a customer wants to hear after months of being ignored, especially bearing in mind the sum we are after is by no means large. I won't even mention the stuff I have heard about him from people who used to work for him, but the overall picture is not very reassuring. I believe his company has been shut down, makes you wonder why, and now he works for Kingfisher electrical and data Ltd. Let's hope that one doesn't wire our police stations like Ross Ltd used to, otherwise I'd dread to think how would that reflect on their integrity, giving their contracts to a thief, as I struggle to find a better name for what Pete Ross is.

I can't recommend Pete and his team at PB Ross highly enough. Whether it is for our personal electrical work or for clients that we recommend in relation to our estate agency, PB Ross are always the first port of call. Pete did a super job for a friend of ours and I know he has been recommended from her on countless occasions to friends and family.

Pete is a kind, professional man with a top-notch firm. I've used his firm on a number of occasions, most recently to wire up a buy-to-let property. He turns up when he says he will & does what he says he'll do. If you're inviting an electrician to quote, it's good to know that before you begin.
