Had Curry's in to install a new cooker, after their very first test they said my earth connection wasn't good enough and that I needed an electrician. Called Southport Electrics for advice and they explained the different earthing systems to me and that mine (being an earth rod) should have been fine with the Ohm readings Curry's were giving me. After looking myself and talking to them they accepted they had made a mistake and that all was fine and installed the cooler. So glad I called, could have been left with what I thought was an unsafe house calling the electricity board to come fix a system that was fine. No apology from Curry's, they were prepared to just walk away and let me rearrange "at my convenience". Excellent service from Southport Electrics and no charge, they'll be my first people to call in future.

Jonathan is a very polite and friendly electrician who you feel completely confident in. He came to solve an intermittent fault with our electric shower that was driving us mad (especially when you're mid shower and it trips off!) Nothing was too much trouble and he did everything to solve it. Thanks Jonathan, you've no idea how good it is to see that little red light stay on! 👍
